Hi! My baby is called Jhes Aeris and I wanted to share our experience with her hemangioma.
The hemangioma appeared as a small trace on her cheek when she was about two weeks old. We ignored it because we thought it was just a scratch.
Suddenly it started to grow so we started to get nervous. I asked someone online about it and found out that what my baby had was a hemangioma. I started researching and then I took her to the doctor.
My husband and I have decided that we are going to remove it with surgery before school starts, also hoping that it will go away with time.
So far I have had to hear a lot of bad comments. I have come to wonder if my daughter has this because of me.
One of the reasons we can't do the surgery right away is also due to lack of money. So we hope to do it when she is 5, 6 or 7 years old so that we can have time to save something.
