Hi! My daughter's name is Blue Wells and she is 15 months old. She was born with an infantile hemangioma that covered a lot of her leg and she was also born with an ulceration on it.
We’ve been to four different doctors, a lot of different options and diagnosis. It’s been very stressfull getting told so many different things from port wine stain to very rare two birthmarks: in one half strawberry - half port wine, but I have had last diagnosis as infantile hemangioma.
She did Timolol drops as a treatment for four months after she was born, it has lightened so much but we are continuing to deal with Ulceration at the moment which is being treated with mupirocin and timolol.
Just wanted to share my story with y’all because I didn’t see a lot of stories with hemangiomas on the leg I wished I would’ve found this group a long time ago when I first had my daughter to help me.
